Heartwood Saunas

Heartwood Saunas is an outdoor sauna design and build company based in Glantwymyn, near Machynlleth in Mid Wales, founded in 2017 by Olly Davey. The workshop produces a Signature Collection of made-to-order cabin-style and pod-style saunas (seating four to twelve), fully bespoke commissions, mobile trailer saunas, and commercial installations, all handcrafted from locally sourced, FSC-certified thermally modified British timber with Welsh western red cedar external cladding. Every build supports both wood-fired and electric HUUM stoves, and the full in-house team handles design, build, and installation — including crane and helicopter deliveries to complex sites. Signature saunas start from £42,000 and are well suited to private estates, coastal retreats, and commercial wellness venues across the UK and overseas.
