Woodmad

Woodmad is a bespoke timber builder based near Stalham in North Norfolk, operated by Gareth 'Stan' Healey, building custom saunas alongside cabins, tiny homes and event structures. Saunas are clad externally in locally sourced larch or Douglas fir, milled on Woodmad's own sawmill, with thermowood interiors sourced from Finland; heat is provided exclusively by HUUM wood-burning stoves from Estonia. Builds are available as static installations or on a road-going trailer for mobile use, and the business takes on residential, commercial and event commissions across the UK. The outfit suits those after a handcrafted, off-grid sauna with a strong emphasis on local and sustainable timber.
