Secret Sauna (Wainford)
Waveney Valley, near Bungay, Suffolk
Secret Sauna is a wood-fired sauna cabin on a private river island on the banks of the River Waveney, just outside Bungay on the Norfolk–Suffolk border. Built by local carpenters using Finnish timber and fitted with a Harvia wood-burning heater, it accommodates groups of 2–6 on a private-hire basis, with 1- to 3-hour sessions available year-round. A cold-water bucket shower, riverside setting, and optional campfire round out the experience. Women-only communal sessions (Evening Embers) run on Wednesday evenings.
