What AI is used for

• Research — gathering and cross-referencing public information about operators, builders, prices, legislation and planning rules, always against named sources.
• Drafting — first drafts of listings and guides, written to the site's editorial rules, then reviewed.
• Checking — flagging stale records, broken links, and claims that lack a source.

What stands behind it

A person reviews what is published and is accountable for it. Facts in guides are verified against primary sources — legislation as enacted, official guidance, published prices — not against other AI output. Listings state what kind of checking stands behind them and when they were last checked (see how we check listings). When something gets through wrong anyway, the corrections policy applies.

What AI is not used for

• Inventing listings, reviews, visits, or experiences that didn't happen. Nothing on this site describes a visit nobody made.
• Generating pages at scale for search engines. Every page exists because a reader might need it, and is researched individually.
• Answering correction reports or operator emails without a human reading them.
