Corrections policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026
A directory is only as good as its willingness to be corrected. Errors here get fixed, not defended.
How to report something
- A listing error — use the “suggest an edit” link at the bottom of the listing page itself; it tells us exactly which entry you mean and what field is wrong.
- An error in a guide or anywhere else — use the contact form and say where you saw it.
- You run the sauna or building business concerned — say so; operator corrections about their own listing are taken at face value for factual details and applied quickly.
What happens next
A person reads every report — there is no automated triage that quietly discards things. If the report checks out, the record is corrected and its last-checked date moves; if a correction changes something a guide says, the guide is updated too. Factual corrections are made silently in listings (the listing simply becomes right); material corrections to guides are noted on the guide itself. If we can't verify a report, we say so rather than half-apply it.
Removal requests
An operator can ask for their listing to be corrected or removed at any time via the contact form. How personal information in listings is handled is covered in the privacy notice.
