Out of the Valley

Out of the Valley handbuilds architect-designed outdoor saunas at their workshop near Dartmoor in Devon, with a range of six named models spanning compact two-to-four-person cabins up to a 12-person flagship with integrated changing room. External cladding is predominantly Shou Sugi Ban thermowood larch; interiors use thermo aspen or thermo alder, with sheep's wool insulation throughout. Every model is available with a wood-fired or electric heater, and a fully off-grid mobile sauna — the Aquila — is also offered for remote and travelling applications. The range suits private garden installations as well as commercial clients, with a bespoke design service available for site-specific projects.
