Bridge 8 Heat is a community wood-fired sauna operation run by Bridge 8 Hub CIC, a canal-based outdoor activity centre on the Union Canal in Edinburgh's Calder Crescent, roughly 20 minutes from the city centre. Sessions run as open sauna slots (Fri–Sun) or guided Saunagus rounds led by a sauna master, combining heat, aromatherapy, and cold plunge intervals. Three cold plunge pools and cold showers are on site, with a custom-built 14–16 person wood-fired sauna cabin in development. The hub is run as a Community Interest Company, with concession pricing for students, benefit claimants, and NHS staff.
